Welcome to my
blog. After many years of wanting
to make blogging a priority in my life, I'm finally jumping in and starting the
journey. This will not only be my
place to keep extended family and friends updated on our day-to-day adventures,
but a place I will openly and passionately discuss my thoughts, feelings, and
beliefs.
Now for the
introductions. I'm Jessica. My
husband Tanner and I have two beautiful and incredible girls. We are currently living on the east
coast, and really enjoy the family oriented nature of the south.
I grew up in
North Carolina and enjoyed a fun filled childhood of eating honeysuckles and
catching fireflies.

Honestly, it
wasn't my cup of tea, but I found out a lot about myself up there too. For intense, I don't enjoy public
transpiration, the bush man (may he rest in peace) was truly a treasure, Alcatraz intrigues
me, I LOVE fresh shrimp, and there is NO way that "Full House" was
filmed INSIDE that teeny tiny house!
After a year
I'd had enough of the crazy commutes to and from work, I moved to Utah with my
sister and brother to finish my schooling and create a new chapter to my
life. I majored in Theater
Performance and Design at Utah Valley University. I met some of the most amazing people there, including my
husband, and some of my best friends.
After years in California, Utah was a hard adjustment! I felt claustrophobic, like the
beautiful mountains were closing in on me. I probably didn't enjoy the state as much as I could have,
but moving there when I did, has definitely led me down the path I'm on with my
family today!
The next few
years are already promising to be the best ones to date. So sit back and enjoy
the ride.
Jess
